Hmm.... I see a regression here. The first one had WAY better face proportions and to mess something like that after two years is already wrong. The perspective looks naturally, but on the "after" version... Something bad happened. The colors are more intense, but i think it also spoils the light and natural mood the first artwork had.
It's a good example of going over the top and attempting to correct something that was already good. It has more color, more time spent on, more oranges even - but somehow... less heart.
The first one makes me cringe The fact that it was a request I put almost no effort into makes me even madder. Plus the proportions, imo, are terrible The second still has issues (a lot hehe), but I feel better about it.
How intense are the colors? This monitor doesn't display bright orange/yellows very well, so I went as vibrant as possible. Is it blinding-to-look-at intense?
